Thailand International Piano Festival: Young Edition

The Young Edition was created with a clear purpose: to support the next generation of Thai pianists by giving them something competitions cannot provide, a real professional concert stage. While competitions can open doors, artistic growth truly happens when young musicians perform full repertoire for a live audience, outside the pressure of rankings and prizes.

This project aims to create opportunities, nurture artistic voices, and support the future of Thailand’s classical music scene by presenting outstanding young artists alongside some of the country’s most accomplished pianists.

On May 17, 2026, the festival presents a special 2-in-1 Mega Concert titled:

“Visions of the Sublime: A Two-Part Cinematic Odyssey.”

A showcase of the next generation of elite pianists, bringing together outstanding competition laureates from Thailand.

- Akin Nilphairojana – First Prize, 7th Steinway Youth Piano Competition Thailand  

- Nutdanai Nimitrungrot – First Prize, The 10th Bangkok Chopin Piano Competition  

- Papitcha Vejmongkolkorn – First Prize, The 5th Bangkok International Performing Arts Piano Competition (BIPAC) 2025  

- Teeramet Boonkobkaew – First Prize, The 5th Bangkok International Performing Arts Piano Competition (BIPAC) 2025
