Piano Concerto Camp 2026

Camp Overview

This is your opportunity to step beyond the piano and experience what it is like to perform with an orchestra.

The Piano Concerto Camp 2026 is a 5-day intensive program (4 days of training and 1 final performance). It is designed to give young pianists a rare, hands-on experience of rehearsing and performing with a live orchestra. Participants will work with the Immanuel Orchestra, a vibrant youth ensemble of around 40 musicians. The orchestra has worked with both local and international artists and has strong experience in concerto performances.

This is a day program (no overnight stay), with lunch and afternoon snacks provided. The camp is open to piano students at approximately Grade 7 level or above.

Learning Experience

During the camp, participants will grow as both soloists and ensemble musicians. They will learn how to play with an orchestra—how to listen, follow, and lead in a musical setting.  Through orchestra rehearsals, coaching sessions, and workshops, students will improve their musical understanding, ensemble skills, and stage confidence. They will also explore different composers, styles, and ways of performing.

The camp ends with a final concert in a professional concert hall, where each participant will perform their concerto with orchestra and experience the full process from preparation to performance.

What each student will receive

Each participant will go through a complete concerto journey. Every activity is designed to be engaging and enjoyable, helping students grow in passion, discipline, and a spirit of collaboration.
