Joseph Wongpichedchai

Joseph started his first piano lesson at the age of 7 at KPN Music School. He studied piano with Uraiwan Hiruntrakul and Suvaluck Liansi and continued his Piano Studies with Jarun Phumiwanadorn at Nat Studio. Then he continued his Bachelor degree at Silpakorn University, Faculty of Music, and Major in Piano Performance with Pornphan Banternghansa. His chamber studies were advised by Jamorn Supapol and Pimchanok Suwannathada.  Later he finished his master degree at Chulalongkorn University Department of Western Music, Fine and Applied Arts, and Major in Piano Performance studying under Prof. Dr. Tuangsuang Isarangkul Na Ayutthaya, the first Thailand Bösendorfer Artist and President of Bangkok Chopin Society.


During his studies, he attended Piano Showcases, House Concerts, Piano Departmental Concert, and The SU-KU Friendship Piano Concerts, Intensive Coaching For Piano Competition Seminar By Poom Prommachart, (a renowned pianist), and concerts at Tongsuang's Concert Salon and Gallery, Pathumthani. He has attended Masterclasses with Thomas Rosenkranz, Corner Hanick, Alexander Gorin, Dr. Catherine Lan, Giovanni De Cecco, Sarah Rhee - Tirre and Bo-Kyung-Kim. He also performed at Tongsuang’s Studio Nana.


On 24 February 2023 Joseph performed in a Charity Concert for Ukraine at (Yamaha Siam Motor Building) along with several famous Pianists such as Tipwatoo Aramwittaya, Yusuke Komura, Akkra Yeunyonghattaporn.
Tarin Suppakorn, Artas Balakauskas, Indhuon Srikaranonda, Wasin Prasertlap.


On 12 November 2023 He became the first Thai pianist who performed the complete set of Liszt’s 6 Grandes études de Paganini S.141 in Thailand “as a part of the first Thailand International Piano Festival 2023.
