Anant Changwaiwit, a virtuoso pianist from Thailand, is widely recognized as one of the most sought-after pianists in the country. He actively performs both in Thailand and abroad.
Throughout his performance career, Anant has been regularly invited by orchestras to showcase his talents as a soloist since 2014. These notable performances include Chopin Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) in 2019, Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No.1 with the North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra in Teplice, Europe in 2018, and TPO in 2016. He has also performed Prokofiev Piano Concerto No.3 with TPO in 2015 and Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Mahidol Symphony Orchestra in 2014, conducted by Alfonso Scarano, Gudni A. Emilsson, and Ligia Amadio.
Anant is highly experienced and skilled as a chamber musician, frequently participating in concerts, festivals, and competitions.
Born in Thailand in 1991, Anant holds a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music Performance from the College of Music, Mahidol University. He received a Gold Medal scholarship and Merit Scholarships during his studies, studying under the guidance of Dr. Eri Nakagawa and Prof. Rolf-Dieter Arens. During his university years, Anant achieved notable accomplishments, including winning The 4th Thailand Mozart International Piano Competition and the MSMU Concerto Competition in 2013. He was also one of the four Gold Medalists from the 16th SET music competition.
