Krit Niramittham is a pianist, conductor, music educator, and theologian. Born and aised in Thailand, he won first prize and
received the Royal Trophy awarded by his Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand at the Conrad Young Musician of Thailand Competition in 2009. In the same year, he also won first prize at the Siam Kolkarn Piano Competition.
He earned degrees in Piano Performance from the Conservatoire de Lausanne in Switzerland, where he studied with Jean François Antonioli. Krit has performed chamber music and piano solo concerts in Europe and Asia, including Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, Romania, Albania, England, Japan, the two Koreas, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. In recent years, he has appeared as a pianist-conductor, performing and conducting works for piano and orchestra. Currently, he is the artistic director of Immanuel Orchestra, part of the Music for Life Foundation.
Dr. Krit Niramittham holds a doctoral degree in music education from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a doctoral degree in theology from the BBS-AGST Alliance. He teaches piano, chamber music, music theory, music education-related courses, and philosophy to both local and international students in Thailand. His students have won prizes in numerous national and international music competitions, festivals, and exams. Currently, he is a guest lecturer at the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, the College of Music at Mahidol University, and Bangkok Bible Seminary.
Additionally, he conducts and publishes research to enhance his teaching skills and contribute to music education communities worldwide. Notably, one of his works has been published by Oxford University Press in The Oxford Handbook of Asian Philosophies in Music Education
